An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children's Emergency Unit at Morriston Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic paediatric nurses to join our busy department to support the opening of our dedicated paediatric resuscitation area.Successful applicants will be based in CEU and work with children and young people attending with a variety of medical, surgical and trauma presentations. You will also have the opportunity to rotate into our main resuscitation areas to develop critical care skills. We will provide you with emergency nursing competencies and involve you in our extensive education opportunities.Ideal applicants would have at least six months post registration experience and be Registered Children's Nurses. Full or part time hours available.
Main duties of the job

You will gain experience of resuscitating critically unwell children and arranging their safe transfer to ongoing care. You will be involved in all aspects of safeguarding children and families and gain in depth experience in these processes. You will also care for children with all types of medical and surgical problems and a variety of minor injuries and illnesses.We are looking for nurses who enjoy working in a dynamic and ever changing environment, who can adapt and respond to their patient's needs and become part of our close knit and fun team.
