Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Medicine Homecare Team, based at Morriston Hospital.
We are looking to recruit 1 part time position (15 hours per week) Monday and Tuesdays, 8am - 4pm (hours can be flexible once fully trained).
The successful candidate will need to be able to organise and prioritise own workload and work on their own initiative.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate would have good numeracy skills, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, office administration experience, a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 packages including Word and Excel.
Some background knowledge of Medicines Homecare is desirable but full training will be given
Duties will include:
Scrutinising prescriptions for compliance and accuracy and raising any errors/omissions with the relevant pharmacist/clinic to resolve them.
Creating orders in accordance to standard operating procedures.
Liaising with clinical teams regarding patient's treatments.
Scrutinising and processing invoices/Proof Of Deliveries/credits and raising enquiries where necessary with homecare providers in relation to errors/omissions/clinical queries, adhering to standard financial instructions and contractual obligations;
Providing administration support to specific areas within the Integrated Pharmacy & Medicines Management Directorate as required.
Providing and distributing reports for specific areas of work to the relevant teams.
