Applications are invited for this exciting position leading the team as the Coronary Care Unit Manager in the Coronary Care Unit within the Tertiary Cardiac Centre at Morriston Hospital.

You will work within the multidisciplinary team here within the cardiac centre, where your excellent communication skills will aid ongoing development of acute cardiology services within this regional centre that delivers expert interventional cardiac care to the wide population of South West Wales.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder has continuing responsibility for the management of the clinical area. This includes the 8 bedded Coronary Care Unit and the 7 bedded CCU Stepdown area.
Will ensure the safe delivery of efficient and effective care in accordance with professional and national clinical standards.
Be visible in providing strong professional leadership and acts as a clinical advisor.
Manage staff performance and service improvement.
Be able to adapt / prioritise duties and undertake a clinical role when needed, autonomously managing a caseload of patients.
Create a culture that promotes educational development and a positive learning environment for nursing, medical and other allied health professionals.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
