Job summary
This is a fixed term post for 12 months due to funding.
If you are a Swansea Bay University Health Board employee this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.
The post holder will be a highly organised individual with a keen eye for deadlines; they will be expected to have both project and programme management training as this will enable them to achieve the goals and deadlines related to Medical job planning.
The post holder will be working with senior staff within each ICSE (Integrated Clinical Service Unit), Clinical Leads, and other stakeholders to deliver key targets. They will have ideally worked in a very similar role previously as this is a fixed term contract for 12 months. Consequently, the post holder will have a proven track record in the delivery of projects in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and manage robust systems to ensure efficient and effective operation of the consultant job planning system across the Health Board. To do this the post holder will require a good working knowledge of job planning and the Consultant Contract.
- Create and maintain systems that will allow the creation of regular reports of the completion of various stages of the sign-off of the job plan process
- Attend meetings as requested presenting information as required, to assist in the delivery of Quality/Service Improvement initiatives and cost improvement programmes, by presenting relevant medical workforce data.
- Assist in the transformation of medical e-job planning by utilising a change management approach
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
