Job summary
Swansea Bay University Health Board is offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Data and Voice Support Officer to work within an ambitious ICT Operations team. The individual will need to have some Networking experience, be self motivated with a desire to learn new technologies.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first line responder to troubleshoot network, telephony issues and Monitor systems. You will respond to service desk calls and part take in project work. This is a team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration, it is essential to have a desire to learn new technologies.
Main duties but not limited to
Provide support for the Health Boards' business-critical network and phone system.
Resolve day to day issues arising from service desk incidents.
Devise and update support documentation, including confidentiality & data standards
Assess the security impact and implications of incidents and report to Line Manager accordingly.
Escalate support issues as appropriate.
Ensure that scheduled work is completed within timescales to agreedquality standards and in line with departmental procedures.
Understand and abide by the Health Board IT Security, Internet, and E-mail policies.
Advise Health Board personnel on IT security matters as appropriate.
Online Cisco Training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
