Digital Services at Swansea Bay University Health Board are seeking to appoint an additional Senior E-Prescribing Facilitator to the Digital Transformation Department.
Digital Services are integral to the delivery of the Health Board's digital strategy, and the directorate plays a key role in supporting thousands of staff to provide effective services. We help clinical staff manage and monitor patients throughout their care and support Health Board staff to review and redesign the range of services provided.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and its use to improve the quality of care and patient safety. The post holder will utilise specialist pharmaceutical knowledge and IT skills to support the E-Prescribing Pharmacist to ensure the continued successful implementation of the hospital electronic prescribing and medicines administration (HEPMA) system at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The Digital Programmes department at Swansea Bay UHB are looking to appoint additional clinically registered professionals to join the hospital electronic prescribing and medicines administration (HEPMA) team. Electronic prescribing and medicines administration will have replaced almost all paper medication administration charts at Neath Port Talbot, Singleton, Morriston, Gorseinon and Cefn Coed Hospitals, with funding secured to extend the implementation further.
Upon completion of the implementation, the HEPMA team will support its ongoing use across the hospital sites, supporting safer digital medications practices and ensuring supporting the service delivery group to realise all expected benefits.
