Job summary
Join us for an exciting new opportunity! We are in the process of setting up a new Psychology service within the Lymphoedema Wales Network, ensuring psychological interventions are available to people with Lymphoedema and Lipalgia Syndrome across Wales.
There has been no psychology input into this long term health condition across Wales prior to April this year, and we would like to develop all levels of this input, from creating a psychologically informed service to direct work, with elements such as education, staff support and groupwork in between.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and creative individual who would like to be integral to this exciting improvement in service. This is a great opportunity to join the Consultant Psychologist at the early stages of setting up a national psychological service, with multiple opportunities to develop your clinical, leadership, service development and research skills and knowledge. This is a lifespan post which supports all age groups and covers all the health boards in Wales.
We offer a supportive and fun work environment, regular clinical supervision, plentiful opportunities to shadow and learn from colleagues, and regular CPD.
To find out more about the post, please email Dr Jayne Williams, National Lymphoedema Consultant Psychologist, on Jayne.williams31@wales.nhs.uk, who will be happy to fill you in!
