Weare looking for a Head of Workforce Effectiveness and Analytics. This is a new post that will allow you to shape the agenda, with a wide portfolio focusing on Workforce Information and Systems, Payroll, FOI, Bank and Rostering, working within the Workforce & OD function.It provides a real opportunity for someone with the right attitude and bravery to do things differently, toput people at the centre of what we do.

Not only that but you will work as part of a great team!It is a senior role within WOD. You will work with the Assistant Director to shape the digital agenda and strategy for workforce. A fantastic opportunity: to develop existing and new systems, to impact and influence decision making that will shape the strategic direction of the organisation.

You will be part of our journey of cultural transformation to support our workforce now and in the future. This role will be critical to enable increased effectiveness in the way we manage and utilise our temporary workforce. It will also have the opportunity to work on a Bank Modernisation programme.

Main duties of the job

This post has a wide portfolio focusing on Workforce Information Systems & Analytics, Payroll, Pay and Reward, FOI, Bank and Rostering, working within the Workforce & OD function.

We are looking for someone with an engaging and values based leadership style, highly driven and outcome/solutions focused.We are looking for a brave and bold change maker who is willing to take us on our digital roadmap and to help influence effectiveness across our organisation.

You will inspire confidence through your knowledge and professional expertise of all aspects of the portfolio.You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

This is a challenging and interesting role, and you will need to demonstrate that you are innovative and resilient with an ability to manage fast paced change, whilst maintaining good governance and a good sense of humour.

  • Educated to Masters level in human resources or statistical analysis, or demonstrated equivalent level of experience
  • Professional qualification in Human Resources: Chartered Member - MCIPD
  • Extensive specialist knowledge required over a range of disciplines e.g. Payroll Management, Financial Management, Information Systems, Research and Development and this knowledge would have been gained over a significant period of time in addition to specialist training.
  • Evidence of Continual professional development.
