An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Transformation team to lead the Value Based Healthcare intelligence function within the health board.
The remit of this post is to turn health and hospital data and information into intelligence that underpins the Transformation team in supporting the provision of high quality health and care services for the population of Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The postholder will play an integral part and have a broad remit within the Transformation Team to support the delivery of high quality analytics focusing on the development of Value Based Healthcare (VBHc) programme of work; the postholder will also support other aspects of the Transformation Team's work programme.

Main duties of the job
This role involves undertaking highly complex analysis and interpretation of all aspects of health information and data, working with SQL, Power BI, MS Office products, OLAP cubes and other web technologies creating management reports, dashboards and visualisation tools.
The successful applicant will be working with project teams within VBHc and Transformation, building key relationships with all relevant stakeholders including peers from digital informatics teams, clinicians and service managers. Working with the national and local VBHc teams, NHS Executive, DHCW and CEDAR. Being the point of contact to advise these stakeholders on the VBHc team's internal and external reporting and analysis requirements for their programme of work.
