The Digital Transformation team within Swansea Bay University Health Board have this new and exciting opportunity to appoint a Digital Business Change and Benefits Lead.

Digital Services are integral to the delivery of the Health Board's clinical services plan, and the directorate plays a key role in supporting staff through transformational digital enablers to provide effective and efficient services for our patients and the community we serve.

As the Digital Business Change and Benefits Lead you will be critical for the successful delivery and management of business change and benefits across Digital programmes. You will be passionate about the benefits new digital technology and its use can bring to improve the quality of care and patient safety.

Main duties of the job

This is a key role requiring candidates to demonstrate their ability to lead and facilitate complex change management programmes across all disciplines of digital and health intelligence to develop high quality, effective, efficient processes which meet the changing needs of the organisation in the delivery of its vision. Through sound knowledge of business change methodologies, the post holder will develop business change strategies for key projects to enable smooth transition of implementing digital systems in clinical and operational areas, covering the lifecycle of the project.

The successful candidate will be required to grow a Business Change, Business Analysis and Service Change team establishing strong clinical engagement and influence ensuring digital programmes are clinically focused, securing benefits for people/patients. The post requires significant understanding of clinical and clinical support environments, and patient processes and services.

The post holder will be required to ensure effective liaison and collaboration with Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), colleagues in other health boards and local authorities, and other relevant national strategic delivery programmes.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Business Change and Benefits, the post holder will also work closely with the Digital Programme Managers to ensure the programmes of work support operational and clinical requirements and are defined, scoped, planned and managed.
