Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatient Reception team in Singleton Hospital.
This will be a permanent 30 hour post.
As a member of the team the successful candidate will be expected work flexible days/half days/hours on a weekly basis between the hours of 8.30am-17.00pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for confidential administrative and reception duties for the various Reception Outpatients areas within Singleton Hospital. These duties will involve using the Welsh Patient Admin System (WPAS) for arriving and departing patients, as well as capturing vital clinic outcomes for each patient's pathway in accordance with National RTT guidelines.
Attention to detail is essential to this role as is a high level of communication skills with patients, colleagues and clinical teams. The role does require manual handling in respect of lifting and moving of patient case notes. Trolleys are provided.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual who is organised, possess excellent communication skills, have a pleasant personality, the ability to work under pressure and enjoys working as part of a very busy team. The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook would be expected.
Previous experience of working in a busy reception/ customer facing role and providing excellent customer service is essential.
