Job summary
THIS POST IS FIXED SECONDMENT FOR 9 MONTHS DUE TO MATERNITY COVER.
If youwish tobe offered on a secondment basis, you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.
Would you like a short term opportunity within Corporate Services at HQ? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team to cover maternity leave for 9 months. Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and seek agreement before applying for the position.
We offer flexible/remote working, so the expectation is that you would only come into the office 2-3 days a week, the rest of your time would be spent at home.
Main duties of the job
The position requires someone with good administrative experience who is confident in managing systems and who would like to broaden their skills in corporate services with a particular interest in the Freedom of Information Act.
You will deal with requests from various sources such as the public, service users, solicitors, AMs, MPs and the media. The person appointed must have experience of dealing with the public, excellent communication skills, able to multi task and meet service deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to manage a full caseload of information requests, ensuring compliance with the organisations obligations under FOIA.
