Job summary

Working as part of the Transformation Team, the purpose of this post is to support the transformation of care in Swansea Bay University Health Board. The role will support the delivery of the Health Board's Recovery and Sustainability Plan.

Main duties of the job

Swansea Bay University Health Board is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join the Transformation Team, to support the transformation of health and care services, and the delivery of high value opportunity projects, to improve outcomes for our patients and the public.

Working closely with a project team of clinicians, management leads, and the Head of Transformation Portfolio, the Project Manager will take responsibility for the development of a project plan, maintenance of project registers, and engagement with project stakeholders. The Project Manager will work with colleagues across the Transformation Team to deliver a benefit-led approach to project and product delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to help transform the way we deliver health and care services to our population, improving experiences of patients and staff, and changing lives for the better.

Develop, management, review and updating the Programme/Project risk register in respect of their programme and project risks

  • Relevant Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent experience.
