Job summary
We are excited to offer a new post supporting individuals of all ages who experience Lymphoedema. We are looking for a creative, flexible and innovative individual to join our National Lead Psychologist, to set up and deliver a lifespan Psychology service across all seven health boards.
This role is the first of its kind in the UK, to bring Psychology directly within Lymphoedema services, and a wonderful opportunity to see how psychology can be used to enhance the lives of the 20,000+ people who currently benefit from the service.
You would be based within the National Team, helping to create an equitable, value-based menu of interventions to benefit individuals and their families. These interventions will vary according to need, and will include Education, Individual and Group Therapies, Psychoeducational Groups, Reflective Practice and Consultation.

This is a preceptorship post and as such we welcome applicants at 8A level, and also those due to complete their Doctorate this year.

Main duties of the job
As a new post, this role will be exciting, varied and ever evolving. Together with the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will be an integral part to the development and delivery of new and innovative services and approaches.
