Job summary
Work in close liaison with the clerical officers and the General Office manager
To provide an efficient and effective service to the General Office Administration department.
To have a good working knowledge of a range of clerical working procedures & practices and also Health Board and departmental policies and procedures.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to join our friendly and dynamic Patient Affairs/General Office Team.
Duties will include:
Receive and effectively manage telephone enquiries .
Supporting cover for the General Office, undertaking cashiering duties, whilst adhering to the Health Boards Financial Procedures.
The successful individual will need to be a hardworking team player with the ability to prioritise work, possess good verbal, written, communication and organisational skills.
An understanding of confidentiality is essential with a good knowledge of data protection and Information Governance principles.
The ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines is essential for this post as well as the ability to communicate well with staff at all levels. Being flexible to the needs of the service is also paramount.
Experience of working within the NHS with knowledge of Health Systems is desirable, as well as an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
