The Digital Intelligence team at Swansea Bay University Health Board have an exciting job opportunity as the Head of Business Intelligence where you'll help lead a dynamic team in shaping the future of healthcare analytics and decision-making.

As the Head of Business Intelligence you will have a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our healthcare services. You'll utilize cutting-edge data analytics tools and techniques to provide valuable insights to our executive team, enabling informed strategic decisions that positively impact patient care and operational excellence.

Main duties of the job

The Head of Business Intelligence is responsible for the development, implementation, management and availability of high quality analytics across the health board to all stakeholders. They will lead and robustly develop a comprehensive and integrated healthcare analytics ecosystem which provides analytical services in line with the health board's Annual Plan, Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP) and Business Intelligence Strategy. As such this business intelligence ecosystem and the associated analytical services will support all health board services and help to deliver actionable insights and continuous improvement for both commissioned and internally provided services.
