Job summary

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team within Pharmacy & Medicines Management (P&MM).

The successful candidate will be required to provide essential support to the P&MM Senior Management Team. They will provide business management support for the service working closely with the Assistant Divisional Manager.

Working autonomously and responsible for their own workload the successful candidate will also be required to coordinate administrative processes and data systems with reference to both the clinical and logistical requirements of the service.

The successful candidate should be responsible and reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive approach. If you are driven, enthusiastic, and are suitably qualified, this post will offer an exciting new challenge.

Main duties of the job

Develop and coordinate the administrative functions including budgetary, reporting and strategic workforcemanagement.

Support the operational management and performance reporting. To include the setting up and support of systems to be used in the monitoring and collation of key performance indicators (KPIs), Pharmacy & Medicines Management (P&MM) information, training compliance and collation of performance evidence against identified standards.

Monitor, collate and provide scrutiny and analysis of performance information and P&MM frameworks.

Provide administrative management support on a day-to-day basis to the Senior Leadership Team to develop the business in line with its agreed strategy.

Support on the development of new processes across the service and the management of existing processes.

Responsible for the preparation of relevant briefings to ensure the senior management team are aware of and understand updates regarding status of business processes, risk reports etc.,

  • Educated to Postgraduate Diploma standard or equivalent experience, NVQ Level 5 - Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Co-ordinated the administrative functions for a department within an NHS organisation.

  • Knowledge of data manipulation scrutiny and analysis.
