Job summary

The Physiotherapy Service has an opportunity for an administrative manager to join its vibrant team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day organisation and management of the administrative team to support the operational running of the Neath Port Talbot Hospital Physiotherapy department.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve managing waiting lists and reporting accurate and timely data to the Musculoskeletal Team Lead. The Physiotherapy Service currently uses Clinical Portal (PIMS+) to manage referrals and booking of appointments and therefore experience with this system would be beneficial.

There is also a requirement to monitor compliance of staff appraisals and mandatory training through completion of regular reports. Along with ordering of supplies through Oracle system. There is often a need to collate data and documents using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and therefore experience with these software's is essential for the role.

There is an expectation for the manager to have excellent communication skills to assist patients and clinical staff with administrative queries to ensure a quality service is provided. Depending on work load demands, it is important to be confident with adapting and prioritising tasks.
