Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Programme Manager to lead and support on major, complex and high priority projects and programmes across CTMUHB which will underpin the organisations strategic objectives .
You will be a leader who can inspire and coalesce others around you to jointly drive forward organisational Improvement and efficiency agendas; you will have the communication and engagement skills necessary to influence at all levels within the organisation and beyond; you will have the skills and tenacity to determine the direction and meet the expectations of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Management Office (PMO)/Change Hub has been set up in order to provide the organisation with a multi-disciplined resource to support the development and delivery of projects and programmes aimed at underpinning the Strategic Objectives/ Integrated Medium Term Plan of CTMUHB.
The PMO/Change Hub also provide a scrutiny and challenge role, supports the governance, monitoring and benefit realisation processes and provides a standardised approach for project and programme management across the organisation.
The PMO also play a role in embedding change within the organisation and provides a focus for the procurement and deployment of the resources required to deliver the programme.
The Programme Manager will take a leading role in the development and delivery of the projects and programmes and also their scrutiny, challenge and monitoring. This will involve developing and implementing a range of policies and procedures that will impact across the programme.
As a senior professional manager working at corporate level across the organisation with considerable freedom to act, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the University Health Boards in the development and implementation the key objectives set out in the projects.
The post holder will manage dedicated project resources and resources contributing to project delivery. This work will often involve working with highly complex, sensitive and contentious information with a high degree of autonomy.
