We have opportunity for a receptionist post based in the Princess of Wales Hospital. Hours will be worked over 7 days including bank holidays.
We are looking for a friendly, approachable individual to join our emergency medicine team to provide a comprehensive and high quality reception and administrative support.
The post holder will be professional and have experience in a wide spectrum of reception and administrative duties.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This means Speaking & Listening at Level 3 or above (equivalent to CEFR B2). We don't need fluency. Main duties of the job
- To contribute to the provision of health care to patients and relatives by providing a comprehensive and confidential clerical and receptionist support in relation to emergency attendances and admissions. This service is provided 24 hours each day throughout the whole year.
- At all times the appropriate systems, procedures, policies and processes should be followed for all the patients to experience a smooth journey at all times.
- Providing a full reception service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure patients are registered, transferred, admitted, and discharged correctly throughout their journey in the Emergency Department.
- Input and extract data from WPAS, ensuring it is kept up to date at all times.

- NVQ III or the equivalent level of Knowledge, Training or Experience
