Job summary

An opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker has arisen on ward 10 at the Princess of Wales Hospital. We are looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team on the Respiratory ward.

The applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential. In addition, experience working with the elderly who may have complex physical and cognitive needs is desirable, however training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Main duties of the job

The individual will be required to work under the direction of the registered nurse, ensuring that high standards of care are provided and maintained at all times.

The applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to use their own initiative. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential. In addition, experience working with the elderly who may have complex physical and cognitive needs is desirable, however training will be provided for the successful applicant.
