Administrative Assistant - EIP & DBT Service.

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motiviated individual to work as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Services covering pan CTM.

The Services consist of multidisciplinary professionals - Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers. The Administrative Assistant will provide effective administrative service to aid the efficient running of the EIP Team and DBT Service.

The postholder will be required to work independently, with own workload being managed rather than supervised.

Please note the base main is located in Quarella Rd, Bridgend but there will be a requirement to travel to different Health Board sites to support the functions of the service.

Main duties of the job

The Administrative Assistant will provide a full and effective administrative service to support both the Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Services covering pan CTM.

The Administrative Assistant will support Clinicians and Practitioners with the day to day running of the services, processing referrals, managing appointments, producing letters and reports. As well the general administrative function the postholder will be expected to oversee and use to full potential the data collection software within the teams. The postholder will be responsible for the collation, preparation of performance related data and support the Managers in all aspects of managing data and performance.

  • Good standard of secondary education; GCSEs at C grade or equivalent.
  • NVQ III Business Administration or willingness to work towards.
  • Typing qualification RSA/OCR level 2 or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of packages.
  • Ability to transfer IT skills to new applications.

Desirable

  • Medical terminology
  • Knowledge of WPAS, FACE & NWIS IT systems.

  • Previous all round office experience and/or experience.
