Job summary
We are seeking a highly motiviated individual to work as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Integrated Autism Service covering pan CTM, based at Ysbyty George Thomas.
The Services consist of multidisciplinary professionals and the role of the Administrative Assistant will be to provide effective administrative service to aid the efficient running of the Integrated Autism Service.
The postholder will be required to work independently, with own workload being managed rather than supervised.

Main duties of the job
The Administrative Assistant will provide effective administrative service to aid the efficient running of the Integrated Autism Service. As well as administrative tasks the post holder will collect and input statistical information on client activity in line with both local and national requirements as determined by the Welsh Assembly Government.
The post holder will be expected to plan and prioritise own workload, ensuring systems are in place to meet deadline requirements for Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and Welsh Government.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries related to autism assessments.
Manage and process referrals in line with service protocols.
Schedule and coordinate assessment appointments with clinicians and clients.
Maintain accurate and confidential records using electronic systems.
Provide administrative support for multidisciplinary team meetings.
Assist in data collection and reporting to support service improvement.

- NVQ III Business Administration or willingness to work towards.
- Typing qualification RSA/OCR level 2 or equivalent relevant experience.

- Ability to transfer IT skills to new applications.

- Medical terminology
- Knowledge of WPAS, FACE & NWIS IT systems.
