An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) Health Board within the NHS. This is a full-time position based at the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.
The post holder will work as a Clinic Co-Ordinator within the Endoscopy Unit, working in a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring the right patients attend their correct clinic.

Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of all Endoscopy appointments and Outpatient Clinics within the Endoscopy Unit working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the right patient attends the right clinic, on the right day at the right time: in addition to have responsibility for the preparation of all case notes adhering to departmental policy and the provision of a high quality reception service for all patients, their families, carers and any other visitors to the department.
To be responsible for the management of the partial booking wizard and to assist and support the Manager and junior staff within the department, also providing cover for reception on a rotational basis.
This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
