Job summary
You will provide a clinical service as a part of Care of the Elderly (COTE) Team, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness. There is opportunity to develop your clinical skills with support from COTE Consultants.
This post is fixed term for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job
It is expected that the post holder would work alongside and provide supervision and advice for Trainee Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates, and work with the extended Multi-Disciplinary Team. The candidate should be comfortable in determining when offering advice is reasonable or when to review patients in person after they have been seen by other members of the clinical team.

The successful candidate will be one of the three registrar grade doctors (2 Speciality Registrars [St4-7] and one SAS doctor) responsible for looking after COTE patients in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
