Job summary
Podiatry and Orthotics are seeking to recruit an individual with experience of providing customer services to join our administrational team as a Therapy clerk. Among other administrative functions, the successful candidate will be managing referrals to the service, arranging clinical appointments in response to telephone calls and managing enquires from other healthcare professionals as well as users of the services we provide.
Applicants must hold a minimum of 3 GCSE / O levels (or equivalent), which must include English & Maths. Candidates will need to demonstrate competence in the basic functions of MSWord, Excel and Outlook. Previous experience of using Health system would be an advantage.

This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support to the podiatry department, performing such tasks as are identified by the Senior Podiatry Clerk in order to ensure that the work of the office is completed in a timely manner. The Podiatry Office provides clerical and administrative support for the whole service.
