Job summary
Salaried Dental Services has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Band A Dentist to join our team, working in the Community Dental Service (CDS) which provides dental services to vulnerable patient groups (including both adults and paediatrics) who are unable to access high street dentistry.
Your job plan will include cover across all areas of the service, across sites, including domiciliary care, providing treatment under general anaesthetic at one of our hospital sites (this will include work outside of routine hours), providing treatment under sedation, undertaking assessment clinics and other areas of service provision.
We provide care across community-based sites in CTMUHB, ranging from Keir Hardie Health Park in Merthyr Tydfil, Dewi Sant Hospital in Pontypridd and our new clinic which is anticipated to open in April 2026 in Bridgend Health and Wellbeing Centre, as well as our peripheral clinics across the footprint.
What we can offer you is a dynamic, innovative and supportive team. At CDS, we are keen to review and improve services on a continuous cycle to ensure we are offering the best quality services to patients and provide a positive working environment for staff. We are keen to support your development and foster an environment where all members of the team can contribute their experience, knowledge and ideas to help us transform services.
Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.
