An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, sub-specialised in knee surgery.
The successful candidate will join the existing Orthopaedic Team with CTM. The post will have an emergency 'on call' commitment on a 1 in 12.
This post holders will join the team of Consultants, Specialty and Registrar Doctors responsible for the provision of Trauma and Orthopaedic services to Cwm Taf Morgannwg, University Health Board. The post may also be required to undertake sessions across other sites within the organisation.

Main duties of the job
The post will be required to share the responsibility of providing Trauma and Orthopaedic outpatient and inpatient care for the local population and in doing so foster excellent working relationships within and outside the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department.
This post will join the team of consultants responsible for the provision of Trauma and Orthopaedic services to the University Health Board in Cwm Taf Morgannwg. The consultant will be required to undertake sessions across other sites within the organisation. The post holder will be appointed on an equal footing with current colleagues.
