Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Gynaecology/Surgery team at Prince Charles Hospital.
The Gynaecology/Surgery ward is based within the Planned Care Group at Prince Charles Hospital. The ward consists of twenty beds, 4 trolleys and 4 waiting room chairs. There is also a treatment room that is utilised and set up for the examination and treatment of patients in Gynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU) and ambulatory care area.
Main duties of the job
You will be joining a team of dedicated nursing staff who will provide you with all the support you will need to flourish, develop and encouraged to excel. Working as part of our dedicated multi-disciplinary team we will value you, and your contribution to delivering excellent, safe and compassionate care to our patients with the Gynaecology/Acute Surgical Speciality.
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach to work. A commitment to delivering high standards of patient focused care is an essential requirement of the post, along with time management and delegation skills which are integral to the role.
You will possess the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of the team, and the ability to develop relationships across professional and Organisational boundaries. You will have access to further study and opportunities to expand your role in line with service development.
