Staff Nurse, Cardiology - Prince Charles Hospital
The successful candidate will work within a 24 bedded ward delivering a high standard of quality of care to all our patients.
Being part of the Cardiology team you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge .
You will also have the opportunity to work across Cardiology services which includes the Cardiac Day Care Unit.
Main duties of the job
The opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to join a team of experienced nurses working on our cardiology ward. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge by nursing patients with acute cardiac conditions including delivering care to patients who have previously been cared for in our Cardiac Care Unit.
You will also have the opportunity to work across cardiology services which will include the Cardiac care unit and cardiac day care unit. You will also work with patients who are rehabilitating with various cardiac conditions.
The posts are rotational between day and night duty (except in the Day Care Unit).
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
