This post is Fixed term to cover a period of Maternity Leave within the Rheumatology Department at Prince Charles Hospital.
The post holder will be joining a dynamic, forward looking and innovative medical team.
The post holder will be based in Prince Charles Hospital.
The post holder will be expected to help develop Rheumatology services provided by the Health Board in Prince Charles Hospital and across CTMUHB, as part of a wider integrated team.
This post is fixed term for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be based at Prince Charles Hospital with Outpatients duties on at least one other site within CTMUHB.
The post holder will participate in the outpatient management of rheumatology patients and provide support and advice for inpatients.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and strengthen the Rheumatology service.
The post holder will support junior medical staff in day-to-day clinical activities within the Rheumatology team.
The successful candidate will develop clinical relationships with colleagues within the Care Group and wider Health Board. As well as strengthening working relationships with Primary Care colleagues in order to improve services locally.

The post holder will be expected to undertake the following responsibilities:
- To participate and contribute to the planning and delivery of rheumatology services; including high quality, evidenced based and multidisciplinary care for rheumatology patients in an outpatient setting and provide support and advice for inpatients as needed.

- At least 4 years full time postgraduate training (or it's equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis) At least 3 years of which will be in a Specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent experience or competencies
- Familiarity with the NHS System in UK
