Pharmacy Technician

The closing date is 27 November 2025

Job summary

At HMP Parc, our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to delivering the best quality care to our patients and need committed and skilled people to help achieve this.

Are you a registered Pharmacy Technician looking to work in a unique sector of pharmacy?

Are you pro-active and ambitious about providing exceptional care and experience for patients?

If the answer is yes, the Pharmacy Team at HMP Parc is currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with patients, in a unique environment, whilst supporting development of our medicines management services.

Whilst ACT and Medicines Management qualifications are required for this post, we welcome applicants who wish to work towards these qualifications and full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at HMP Parc.

The role will involve working as an integral part of our Healthcare team, delivering a patient-orientated service and working closely with our patients to aid medicines administration, support medicines independence and undertake medicines management activities.

You will need to be a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician, with excellent organisational and communication skills and a passion for providing a Patient focused service.

Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. For more information, see 'Welsh Language Guidance' in the documents right at the bottom.
