THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR UPTO 12 MONTHS TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist wishing to further develop their skills within our rapidly developing Cardiac Physiology department. The individual will have sufficient experience post qualification, at band 5 level and be looking to expand their current knowledge and experience.

Main duties of the job
The department offers a broad range of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests, including a wide range of ambulatory monitoring, physiologist led/medically supervised ETT, Echocardiography, Cardiac Device implantation and follow-up (pacemakers, resynchronisation and high voltage devices)as well as diagnosticCardiac Catheterisation.
We are looking to appoint a Cardiac Physiologist who would like to specialise in echocardiography and relish the challenge of being part of our team.
Applicants must hold a BSc in Cardiac clinical physiology or equivalent, ASCT Part 1and 2 or equivalence and working towards BSE accreditation.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
