Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to join the newly established Digital Transformation Team. As an integral part of the Digital & Data Directorate in CTM, the team have a rapidly expanding portfolio of challenging and interesting projects, including electronic prescribing and medicines administration, transforming patient contact services and several smaller projects supporting direct care.Under the guidance of a Digital Transformation Programme Manager, the successful candidate will be expected work collaboratively with operational and clinical colleagues and the wider digital team to support the re-design of services to improve the outcomes of our patients, citizens and families that we serve, as outlined in the Health Board's strategy CTM 2030.
Candidates will be expected to have experience of supporting technical/ clinical digital transformation projects within a healthcare environment. Skills including; excellent engagement and stakeholder management, demonstrable experience in supportring the whole life-cycle of a project.

Main duties of the job
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT UNTIL OCTOBER 2026 DUE TO FUNDING
As a Digital Transformation Project Manager, the post holder will co-ordinate and manage several projects to support the delivery of a range of digital transformation programmes to ensure quality assurance, risk management and achieving financial balance.
The post holder will be a source of project management and quality improvement knowledge, providing support to clinical and operational colleagues and identified clinical and managerial leads.
The post holder will support the key working groups across a variety of services ensuring that there is join up and collaboration between the teams where appropriate.
The post holder will be able to adapt the approach to ensure that projects remain on track.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
