Job summary
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO MATERNITY COVER
The post holder will support the R&D) team in delivering an efficient, high-quality service across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, while meeting the internal and external requirements of the procedures, frameworks and legislation governing the research process and Health and Care Research Wales key performance indicators and metrics.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the Local Process Management System and associated databases, ensuring the timely upload of project information to include study recruitment figures and monitoring recruitment to time and target. The post holder will support the R&D team with the processing of research passport applications to ensure that the appropriate checks are undertaken and the relevant letters of access or honorary contracts are issued. The post holder will also be expected to request and collect project updates throughout the duration of the study and detail findings on the research and development web page.
The post holder will be expected to have excellent organisational and time management skills to support the delivery of an efficient and high-quality service across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. Excellent communication skills are also required as the post holder will liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders.

This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
