PCR - Business Improvement, Performance, Strategy & Planning Manager
Are you a dynamic and experienced leader looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patient care and service delivery? We are seeking a Planned Care Recovery Manager to join our leadership team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg. This pivotal role will provide strategic, performance and planning management across planned care recovery clinical and managerial services, with a particular emphasis on delivering waiting time targets and continuous improvements in patient care and experience.
Main duties of the job
As the Planned Care Recovery Manager, you will be responsible for strategic, planning and performance management, including service demand and capacity, planning, resource utilisation and modernisation. Working to ensure the achievement of waiting time targets and other key performance measures whilst driving continuous improvements in patient access and care. In this role, you will also support across specialities for workforce, finance and performance delivery in partnership with clinical and multidisciplinary leads. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is responsible for operational and performance management, service quality and planning, resource use and modernisation. As such they are responsible, along with the Directorate Managers for the leadership, direction and financial control of services. The post holder will contribute to and ensure the delivery of strategic and operational service objectives set by the Board and the University Health Board Executives. The post holder is required to work independently ensuring effective interpretation and implementation of national guidelines. They are responsible for policy, service development, improvement and for the budget and physical resources for several services across the Planned Care Group.
