Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Head of Digital Business Change and Benefits to join the newly established Digital Transformation Team. As an integral part of the Digital & Data Directorate in CTMUHB, the team have a rapidly expanding portfolio of challenging and interesting projects, including Mental Health Single Record, electronic prescribing and medicines administration, transforming patient contact services.
Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Digital Transformation, the successful candidate will be expected work collaboratively with senior operational and clinical colleagues and the wider digital team to improve the outcomes of our patients, citizens and families that we serve, as outlined in the Health Board's strategy CTM 2030.
Candidates will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of business change methodologies and benefits management within a complex digital transformation portfolio. Skills include; excellent engagement, communication and organisational skills.
As a proactive and positive member of the team, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the implementation of key transformation project objectives which will enable and support the vital work of CTMUHB.

Main duties of the job
This is a senior level position reporting to the Assistant Director of Digital Transformation that requires an extensive blend of strategic and operational business change and business analysis experience
The post holder will be required to lead and oversee the facilitation of business change within the UHB through the introduction of new digital clinical systems and technology. This will include overall and ongoing responsibility for the successful day-to-day adoption of new capabilities through clinical systems implementation.
The post holder will take the lead in enabling the digital benefits realization, planning, benefits management, and working with services to capture, measure, baseline, embed, and realise the outcomes of the benefits.

- Educated to Master's Degree level or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Specialist project knowledge to post graduate level or equivalent experience (e.g. PRINCE 2 practitioner).
- Excellent understanding of clinical and non-clinical processes, and a clear understanding of Welsh strategic priorities for Digital Health in Wales.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of benefits management and realisation.
Desirable
