Job summary

The post holder will be required to implement the plan of care devised by the multi-disciplinary stroke therapy team involving direct and non-direct care for the benefit of the patient on an individual or group setting.

Provide basic nursing care to patients, such as help with washing and dressing, assisting to feed & aiding patients to mobilise.

Undertake routine clinical tasks such as basic dressing changes, catheter care etc.

Take, record and report basic physiological investigations.

Support patients and relatives through stressful situations following their stroke/medical illness.
