Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive Personal Assistant to join the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Health Team. In this role, you will provide efficient and effective support to three Consultants in Public Health. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with both home and office-based work, and the base location is flexible between Glanrhyd Hospital in Bridgend or Keir Hardie University Health Park in Merthyr Tydfil.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 8 months to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

Interview Location - Keir Hardie University Health Park, Aberdare Road, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 1BZ.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include high-level administration support, such as monitoring emails, managing diaries, arranging and servicing meetings, and taking minutes. You will also need to address issues as they arise, reporting and escalating them in a timely manner.

Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing work priorities in a busy environment are essential. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and other internal systems is also required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
