Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bridgend Community Resource Team (CRT) as an Integrated Community Services Mental Health (Team) Leader . We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse interested in the growing sector of intermediate community care to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic, professional Nurse who can demonstrate both sound clinical, leadership and management skills but who is also creative and has vision to develop this part of the service forward. They need to be a good team player and also have the ability to understand and support the wider strategic plans for the growth and development of Integrated services.

Essential
- Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Evidence specialist training, development of knowledge to PGD level equivalency.
- Post registration continuing professional development activity.
- Ability to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and awareness of current evidence base relevant to the area of practice.
- Sound working knowledge of the legal and policy framework underpinning mental health provision e.g. Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, National Service Frameworks, Mental Health Measures.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and adults
Desirable
- Relevant degree level qualification.
Experience
Essential
- Evidence of achievement in clinical practice within the area of speciality e.g. adult mental health, older person's mental health.
- Experience of working within a multi-agency community mental health setting.
- Management experience.

- Teaching experience.
