Health Care Support Worker, Bladder & Bowel Health Service
The post holder will work as a member of the Bladder & Bowel Health Service under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist/Team Leader.
The post holder will contribute to the implementation of nursing care as assessed and prescribed by the Registered Nurse. This will include working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency arena. The post holder will perform a variety of tasks for the Bladder & Bowel Nurse specialists in the geographical area.
The post holder will hold Level 3 NVQ/QSF in a healthcare associated certificate or possess skills, knowledge and experience to equivalent level and/or be willing to undertake the course.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to undertake a range of clinical and clerical activities as delegated by the Bladder & Bowel Nurse specialists.
These activities will be carried out in a variety of settings including patients' homes, clinic /ward settings, GP surgeries, Residential and Nursing Homes.
