Job summary

The post holder will support the Business Intelligence Lead Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager to manage the Information functions within the Business Intelligence Team.

They will ensure that the day to day information and reporting priorities of the Patient Care and Safety function, through the Business intelligence Team, are delivered efficiently and effectively in a timely manner.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will support the Business Intelligence Lead Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager in the administration of the Information functions within the Business Intelligence Team. This includes contributing to the development, management and maintenance of the Concerns, Safety and Risk Management systems (Datix Web and Datix Cymru) across all modules for the Health Board in relation to information data collection, extraction and reporting.

They will form part of an analytical team, ensuring that the team's day to day priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively in a timely manner. The post holder will support the delivery of the team objectives by ensuring statutory and mandatory requirements are delivered, producing innovative presentation of information, efficient completion of reports in an accurate and concise format and monitoring of performance against local and national targets for services being delivered.

They will contribute to the effective administration of a Health Board wide reporting system in relation to Concerns, Safety and Risk management data to meet the Strategic needs of the organisation. The post holder will be a Health Board subject matter expert resource on the Concerns, Safety and Risk Management systems across all modules in relation to information data collection, extraction and reporting.
