Job summary
The post holder is required to carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient, and will be supported and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Ward 12 is a 28 bedded ward, specialties include Endocrine and Care of the elderly.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic , motivated Health Care Support Worker to join our busy team on ward 12, Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
The post will involve caring for patients with Diabetes, and Care of the elderly patients.
Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and have good communications skills.
The main role is to support trained nurses and medical staff in delivery of high standards of care and to assist and support patients through a varied range of investigations and treatments.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
