We are offering a part-time secondment/fixed term opportunity for an Administration and Resource Officer to support to the Healthy Weights Team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Health Team.
A hybrid approach to working, at both home and office - the successful candidate will be based at either Glanrhyd Hospital, Bridgend or Keir Hardie University Health Park, Merthyr Tydfil which is negotiable and discussed at interview.
The role will run until 19th September 2025 working 22.5hrs per week. If you are interested in applying for it as a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.
Main duties of the job
Good knowledge of administrative procedures and communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of health and other professionals is paramount. You will need to be well organised and practical with the ability to work to deadlines. You should possess good keyboard/computer skills. The role requires you to be flexible and adaptable and be able to prioritise work effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required together with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
