Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work within Ty Llidiard CAMHS Inpatient Unit.

You will be part of a large Multidisciplinary Team, within a structured Nursing Team and have the opportunity to gain valuable experience whilst developing and progressing through your Nursing career.

The post holder will be required to work with young people aged 12-18 years who have complex mental health needs. The post holder will also be able to deliver both therapeutic/recreational group activities as well as individual work as required by the service.

Full time or part time hours are available.

Main duties of the job

Ty Llidiard is a inpatient CAMHS unit taking admissions of young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who live in South, Mid and West Wales and who are experiencing psychiatric disorders such as anorexia nervosa, clinical depression, self harming behaviours and early onset psychosis.

The successful candidate will have RN (Mental Health) qualification/registration.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
