Job summary
This is an exciting supervisory opportunity for a BABCP accredited therapist to provide either remote or in person (depending on postholder preference) clinical supervision to CTM team members who will be completing the CBT Certificate and Diploma as well as to our Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAPS).
Main duties of the job
This is a supervisory role, including the following:
Provision of clinical supervision to team members completing the CBT Certificate/Diploma and CAAPS.
Provision of clinical supervision for other professionals, where appropriate, in the MDT e.g. OTs, nurses and other professionals.
The successful candidate will be BABCP accredited with significant experience of working clinically with CBT as well as supervising using CBT models.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Post graduate MSc or Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
- Full accreditation and registration with the BABCP.
- Registered with a recognized professional body.
- High level knowledge of the theory and practice of at least two specialised psychological therapies.
Desirable
- Supervisor's qualification.
- Qualification in an additional psychological therapy.
- BABCP accredited supervisor
Experience
Essential
- Substantial, post accreditation experience, of providing specialist Cognitive behavioural therapy assessment and treatment for clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, and primary care.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups and problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly, emotive and distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse
- Extensive, post accreditation experience of providing clinical supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy.

- Experience of the application of psychological therapy in different cultural contexts.
- Demonstrate further specialist training / experience through having received a minimum of 50 hours clinical supervision of working as a specialist therapist over a minimum of two years
