Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for recruitment into our School Nursing Team in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Band 5 School/Immunisation Nurse. We have 1 post available and these will be 30 hours per week term time only on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025 to cover secondments. The Bases are to be confirmed at interview and will be covering the Rhondda, Taff and Cynon areas.
This post is Fixed Term/Secondment due to secondment cover.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant should be committed to team working and possess excellent interpersonal skills. They will play an integral part in the School Nurse Vaccination programmes that will include the extended nasal FLU programme in secondary schools. They will support the School Nursing Team working with school aged children and young people in a range of Health Promotion activities in conjunction with the Welsh Government Public Health Agenda.
