Job summary
This is an exciting new opportunity to build upon the success of the Merthyr PIPYN programme, delivering level 1 Children, Young People and Families weight management services in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area.
This post holder will lead the roll out or PIPYN, based on the model of delivery piloted within Merthyr Tydfil and report back to Nutrition and Dietetic services as well as local primary care clusters.
This is a unique opportunity to work with local communities to support healthy weights and feed into the development of the wider Children, Young People and Families weight management services for CTM UHB.
We currently have a minimum of 18.75 hours available, with up to full time hours of employment available, depending on candidate needs. This post will be funded until 31st March 2026.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will be responsible for the co-design and evaluation of the PIPYN intervention, using stakeholder and families feedback, as well as process and outcome data collection tools
They will be responsible for the development of monthly, quarterly and annual service reports as well as the leadership of a small delivery team and admin resource.
This post is fixed term / secondment for 24 months due to the needs of the service.
