Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our well established medical services in the Princess of Wales Hospital Bridgend. This ACP post is open to multi-professionals ( nurse, physio, paramedic). We are looking for fully trained ACPs who hold MSc AP and IP or a trainee ACP where Annex 21 would be applied.
The post holder would expected to provide clinical leadership with the context of the given service/speciality. This requires the ability to clinical assess, diagnose and treat patients within the context of Acute Frailty/Care of the elderly medicine, Ortho-geriatrics or Stroke
The post holder would be expected to lead clinical service developments and provide professional leadership to band 7 ACPs/CNS's in the service. The post holder would be expected, to lead on relevant research projects, audit, service evaluation and QiP and ensure that outcomes are appropriately acted upon and disseminated both locally and nationally.
The development and delivery of programmes of education to multi-professional audience in relation to specialist field of practice will also be a requirement of the role both within the organisation, and the wider University setting.
The post holder will need to demonstrate the level of their practice through a live Advanced Practice Portfolio. For those in a trainee role the portfolio will be an evolving process to reach Advanced Level of practice.
On-going professional development will be supported via 12 monthly PDR.
