Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Pharmacy team. The post holder will be based at the Princess of Wales Hospital (POWH) in Bridgend.
Princess of Wales Hospital is located off the M4 in Bridgend, with easy access from both the West and the East corners of Wales.
Main duties of the job
This role provides an exciting opportunity to build on previous pharmacy experience to enhance your clinical knowledge and medicines management skills within secondary care. Successful candidates will provide a clinical pharmacy service to wards which may include Medicine, Acute Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, COTE, ITU and Mental Health. Duties will also include dispensary based work where we service a wide range of out-patient clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop and hone your clinical pharmacy skills in a dynamic working environment. There is opportunity to contribute to the education and training of junior pharmacists and trainees.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
CTMUHB is an integrated organisation providing acute, community and mental health services.
